Now hiring at Support Shepherd for a Marketing And Executive Assistant! This Remote position offers an immediate start for the right candidate. The role has a strong focus on Digital marketing expertise. This position comes with a salary of $50k - $70k per Year.

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile professional to join our team as an independent contractor in a hybrid role combining marketing assistance, executive support, client acquisition, and financial management. This full-time, remote position is ideal for a proactive and creative individual based in Latin America who can work Central or Eastern time zone hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation and Management:
    • Relaunch and manage our podcast, including editing audio/video files and coordinating with guests
    • Create and adapt content for various social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn)
    • Write original blog posts and articles, utilizing AI only for creativity and editing
    • Suggest ideas for content creation, with a focus on mental health topics
    • Design graphics and visual content using Canva and other design tools
  2. Digital Marketing and Publishing:
    • Manage and update our Squarespace website
    • Handle podcast distribution through Libsyn
    • Analyze and report on marketing analytics
    • Develop and implement social media strategies
    • Create visually appealing marketing materials and infographics
    • Assist with publishing and marketing content on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing platform
  3. Client Outreach and Acquisition:
    • Support the process of acquiring clients for our associates
    • Develop and implement outreach strategies to potential clients
    • Manage communication with prospective clients
    • Assist in preparing proposals and presentations for potential clients
  4. Financial Management:
    • Use QuickBooks to manage financial records
    • Prepare and maintain Profit and Loss (P&L) statements
    • Create and send invoices to clients
    • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks
  5. Executive Support:
    • Conduct research for book projects
    • Seek out and screen potential podcast guests
    • Assist in launching new business initiatives
    • Provide general administrative support as needed

  • English proficiency at C1 level or higher, with excellent writing and editing skills capable of ghostwriting high-quality articles
  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing and content creation
  • Extensive experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (Squarespace, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Libsyn)
  • Proficiency in audio and video editing software
  • Strong understanding of AI tools and their appropriate application in content ideation and editing
  • Proficient in using Canva and other graphic design tools for creating marketing visuals
  • Experience with client outreach and acquisition strategies
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management and reporting
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
  • Creative mindset with a talent for generating innovative ideas and designs
  • Ability to analyze and interpret marketing and financial data
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Self-motivated with strong time management skills
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new tools and processes
  • Experience working remotely and managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience with Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and master new publishing platforms

  • Previous experience in a similar hybrid role
